Verses 1-12

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

O prophet! Why do you prohibit that which Allah has made lawful for you; seeking the pleasure your wives? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
[Al Quran ; 66:1]

Allah has already ordained for you the dissolution of your oaths; and Allah is your Guardian, and He is the Knowing, the Wise.
[Al Quran ; 66:2]

And when the prophet confided a saying to some of his wives; and when she informed (others) of it and Allah made it apparent to him, so he made some of it known and turned away from some. And when he informed her about it, she said: Who informed you this? He said: I was informed by the Knowing, the Acquainted.
[Al Quran ; 66:3]

If you both repent to Allah, for your hearts have deviated; and if you support each other against him, then indeed, it is Allah Who is his Guardian, and Jibril and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are supporters.
[Al Quran ; 66:4]

Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced you, would substitute for him wives better than you, submitting (to Allah), believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, travelling, previously married and virgins.
[Al Quran ; 66:5]

O you who have believed! Protect yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is people and stones; over it are angels, tough and severe, they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and they do what they are commanded.
[Al Quran ; 66:6]

O you who have disbelieved! Do not apologise today; you will only be rewarded for what you used to do.
[Al Quran ; 66:7]

O you who have believed! Repent to Allah with sincere repentance; perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow. The day when Allah will not disgrace the prophet and those who have believed with him; their light will proceed before them and on their right side. They will say: Our Lord! Complete for us our light and forgive us; indeed, You are over everything Capable.
[Al Quran ; 66:8]

O prophet! Strive against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge will be hell; and miserable is the destination.
[Al Quran ; 66:9]

Allah has struck an example of those who disbelieved: The wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut. They were both under two of Our righteous servants but betrayed them, so they did not avail them from Allah in anything; and it will be said (to them): Enter the fire with those who enter.
[Al Quran ; 66:10]

And Allah has struck an example of those who believed: The wife of Firon, when she said: My Lord! Build for me near You a house in the garden and save me from Firon and his deed and save me from the unjust people.
[Al Quran ; 66:11]

And Mariam, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her private part, so We blew into it of Our spirit, and she believed in the words of her Lord and His books, and she was of the devoutly obedient.
[Al Quran ; 66:12]
